Products of the month - September 2013 This month it's all about Exfoliation.  After enjoying the wonderful weather of the last few months it's time to limit the damage done by all that lovely (but harmful and ageing) sunshine. I'm a Dermalogica Specialist!

Today I received my Dermalogica Specialist Certificate as part of the ongoing education that Dermalogica provides for skin therapists.  Dermalogica recently introduced a 3-tier education programme, so now I have completed tiers 1 and 2.  This programme culminates in the achievement of the ultimate mark of professionalism - Dermalogica Expert Status - and I hope to achive this final tier in August.

Big thank you to all the staff of Dermalogica here in Dublin and the trainers who often come over from the UK to help with the training.  The classes can be tough but always worthwhile, so thanks again ladies!!

Last night Dermalogica launched a new addition to their AGE Smart range called Overnight Repair Serum. 

This is a technologically advanced treatment serum that deeply nourishes skin overnight and gives lacklustre skin a fresh, dewy appearance.  Overnight Repair Serum works as you sleep, helping to repair skin tissue and provide cell nourishment and protection, while at the same time scavenging free radicals that assault the skin and lead to premature ageing. 

Moroccan Argan Oil, Vitamin E and essential fatty acids help restore a weakened barrier layer, lock in moisture and increase elasticity.  Alaria Extract (edible seaweed) helps to increase collagen renewal, hydration, firmess and dermal strength.  Rose Hip Seed Oil helps minimise discoloration while helping to boost cell renewal.
